OPULENCE I went to Mare Blu Villa for a week with my friends, and it just blew all my expectations away. I had seen the pictures on the internet and expected the place to be good. But this place was perfect in every way. It is an amazing villa that has an awesome view of Rendevous Bay with all the facilities you can possibly need when you're on vacation. Whether you want to doze off on the floats, watch TV in the pool, or have dinner in the outdoor dining room, Mare Blu has it all! Each bedroom is like a room in a five-star hotel, everything is new and made from the best materials. It's located a short drive away from the main town on the island and getting places was easy by car. Everything that St. John has to offer - lots of sun, uncrowded beautiful beaches, hiking and snorkeling, and enjoying a nice cocktail with a fabulous view - is complemented and made better by having your own luxurious place to make the experience perfect. I spent a wonderful weel at Mare Blu. It surpassed all of my expectations. It is beautifully designed so that even when you are inside, you feel as if you are outside. Atlhough the interior spaces have air conditioning, the rooms are open to the outside looking over Rendezvous Bay and the Caribbean. There are ceiling fans throughout. The steady breeze was relaxing and comfortable at all times of day. The exterior living space is spacious, welcoming, and relaxing. It is a glorious place to eat, swim, read, and relax. Everything you needs is there. Although I had to work while I was at Mare Blu (writing and on the telephone), I found it to be the most comfortable place I have ever worked, or ever been for that matter. It was quiet so it was easy to concentrate. The property was carefully designed with the highest level of finishes both inside and out. It is impeccably maintained. We stayed at Mare Blu ( 6 adults & 3 teenagers) during the summer and had an absolute ball. The amenities were top notch. The rooms were well appointed and situated so that everyone had privacy. The layout of the house was perfect for multiple families or people of various ages to have their own space, as well as great space to hang out together. FANTASTIC HOUSE My family loved Mare Blu. There are 12 of us, the house was perfect. It was designed so everyone has space and the outdoor living room was wonderful. We ate all of our dinners there, and spent most of our house time there. Tori the local manager, was always available to help. We have been to St. John 9 times, Mare Blu was the Best Ever!! Mare Blu proved to be the perfect home for our family to celebrate Thanksgiving 2015. We have visited St. John before, and this trip was by far the most memorable and luxurious. The villa was close enough to town but far enough to provide seclusion and a gorgeous view of the bay. The villa itself was very well appointed from the kitchen to entertainment, offering everything you might need. I was able to easily prepare meals that we enjoyed around the large dining table. The second outdoor kitchen area and outdoor fridge drawers were terrific. The spacious guest suites allowed everyone to retreat to their own space if they wanted privacy or alone time. There was ample room for our family of 9 adults! The beautiful pool was also a huge hit. Teri was wonderful to work with and always answered my questions promptly.
