This villa was the absolute perfect place to share our spring break with our friends. A bird's-eye view of Rendezvous ay made a beautiful backdrop for my morning coffee and relaxing with a book around the pool. PERFECTION!!! If we were told we could use only one word to describe our experience at Mare Blu, it would be perfect! The owners have successfully incorporated the beauty, colors and cheerfulness of the Carribean in every room of this incredibly thoughtout house. Comfort and uniqueness abound in the decor, each room is amazingly private, yet there are incredible open and inviting areas for gatherings, all with the most incredible views. Every detail has been provided for, and once you've done a little grocery shopping, you literally do not ever have to leave the house. The location is a huge plus-everything is within easy driving distance. My recent stay at Mare Blu Villa was an unforgettable experience that far exceeded all my expectations for a luxury vacation. This opulent oceanfront villa in St. John offered not just comfort but extraordinary embrace of beauty and tranquility. March weather in St. John was perfect, with clear sunny skies and a gentle ocean breeze, which made every day at the villa purely delightful. The infinity edge pool, blending into the horizon, became my serene retreat. Lounging by the pool, I was treated to the villa’s breathtaking ocean views, which were nothing short of spectacular. The sight of the sun dipping below the ocean in the evening was a daily spectacle I looked forward to. The villa itself is just a short drive from some of the world’s top beach’s, which promised and delivered crystal-clean waters and pristine sands. I'm just looking over the photo album of my daughter's wedding, last August, and Mare Blu was the absolute highlight of our week. We hosted 25 people every evening for a party where everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We were able to do our own cooking, the views are breathtaking, and most of the guests just wanted to hang around the pool. The Westin Hotel took care of the wedding ceremony and reception but everything else was at Mare Blu. It would be my first choice for vacation or any kind of celebration at any time of the year. We remain so grateful to the owners of the house for their generosity. It was even more spectacular than we imagined and one of the highlights of our entire lives! Since 6 couples chipped in, the cost was much less than the local hotels and we did not have to eat out every night. My family will definitely go back to St. John, specifically for Mare Blu. Hi Guys I hope you are doing well. We are in St. John this week and drive by Mare Blu everyday as the house we rented is past Mare Blu. We are a group of 17 people. Same group as last year plus one additional family. We are having a great time, but DEFINITELY MISS Mare Blu. The house we rented is called Eco Serendib. Elegantly Comfortable & Amazing Where to begin? Mare Blu is absolutely beautiful. There's not one square foot that isn't perfectly decorated as well as functional! The kitchen (inside and outside) is completely stocked with any & everything you could possibly want...Suitable for a chef! The bedrooms are all so roomy and the decor is unbelievable! loved the bathrooms too...very spacious!! The pool area and sitting area by the outside dining table were our two most favorite hangouts!! Mare Blu provided a beautiful, serene setting for our recent 50th anniversary celebration with family. The manager met us promptly upon arrival and made us immediately feel at home. The villa was luxurious and so well-appointed that it would be difficult to want anything more. The large outdoor dining and indoor living areas created an atmosphere in which our family was able to enjoy memorable conversations and meals together without interruptions. And, the opportunity to enjoy a cup of early-morning coffee on the patio or to swim under the stars in a pool overlooking the ocean was priceless. The downside of this trip was that it was far too short. A week just wasn't long enough to fully experience the beautiful scenery and uncrowded beaches that St. John has to offer. My husband and I stayed at Mare Blu with friends in Jan. 2011. Absolutely unbelievable! Brand new and immaculate. Luxury in every creative, contemporary detail from bedding to the kitchen dishes and accessories. I felt like I had over indulged on a shopping spree to West Elm and Williams Sonoma! Spectacular views of Rendeovous Bay from every room, including the bathrooms with their indoor and outdoor showers! Great location with Cruz Bay 10 minutes down the hill and the National Park beaches ten minutes up the hill. Expensive, but for a six bedroom estate with so much class, it is worth every penny. Also, the owners offer a fair deal basing the rate on the number of bedrooms rented. We sat in the no chlorine infinity pool watching a gorgeous sunset on one side of the pool and the NFL playoffs on the other. Since the Saints were losing it helped that we could grab a beer out of the refrigerated drawer under the TV four steps from the pool. See what I mean about thoughtful details!! Read More...

Great House!...Great Island!...Great Time! Mare Blu was the perfect home for our families to enjoy while at St. John. We had the opportunity to bring our friends and their kids to St. john for their first visit to the island. Teri & Bernie were tremendously helpful upfront and their advice was extremely helpful and accurate. Their home was laid out perfectly for our two families and kids (6 kids under the age of 10). We had plenty of room to spread out but there is also great outdoor space to hang out together. The outdoor kitchen and pool area is perfect for families to enjoy meals and to just hang out and relax. They truly thought out everything when they designed the layout. We were very pleased with the location as well. It was a short drive to town and to the North Shore beaches. Their property manager was also very accommodating while we were there. We arrived almost 6 hours late due to travel issues and they kindly did a quick store run for us so that we had the essentials for the kids breakfast the following morning. Overall we really had a dream vacation with our children and made many wonderful memories while staying at Mare Blu. We will definitely be back!!! Read More...
