Our family had the opportunity to stay at Mare Blu in 2024 and just a month ago in 2026. I can’t say enough about how beautiful Mare blu is from a location & scenic view standpoint, but also from an accommodation standpoint, where it has EVERYTHING that you may need. Another huge positive about Mare Blu is the support from the owner on any issue is quickly resolved through their local staff. I know that we will be going back again to Mare Blu, because it has now become a great home away from home in my favorite place on earth, St. John USVI. Mare Blu was amazing! Expectations were exceeded! You often wonder if it can be as great as the pictures. Mare Blu is amazing. The views would make any postcard jealous. The bedrooms were specious with their own luxurious bathrooms. The outdoor entertainment areas and the infinity pool made it hard to leave to go explore the spectacular island of St. John. Our week at Mare Blu with dear friends will top the list of vacations of a lifetime. We say that with all sincerity as frequent global travelers. The owners checked with us prior to and during our stay. our satisfaction was a priority for them. The concierge service/property management company was excellent. We stayed at Mare Blu ( 6 adults & 3 teenagers) during the summer and had an absolute ball. The amenities were top notch. The rooms were well appointed and situated so that everyone had privacy. The layout of the house was perfect for multiple families or people of various ages to have their own space, as well as great space to hang out together. A group of good friends (11 in all) stayed at Mare Blu and had a great time. The accommodations and the beauty of the villa is comparable to a high end resort. It's all at Mare Blu, several rooms and outdoor spaces to gather and not always be on top of each other. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to enjoy a casual breakfast, lunch or an elegant dinner. The individual bedrooms (6) are perfect with individual air conditioning, over head ceiling fan, TV and a well-appointed bathroom.That said, you won't stay in your room, it's way to much fun to swim in the infinity pool, watch TV while in the pool, drink and enjoy the magnificent views. We all feel so lucky that we got to stay and enjoy a place as pretty & comfortable as Mare Blu. FABULOUS Our vacation at Mare Blu was fabulous! We had six couples from South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Colorado and Washington. We all had a fantastic time. The villa is large almost like a small boutique hotel. Finding privacy when desired was no problem. The gathering spaces were spacious and well appointed. We spent most mornings at the beautiful beaches on the north side of the island. Most afternoons we spent relaxing around the huge pool. regardless of where you stood in the villa the views were spectacular. Great House!...Great Island!...Great Time! Mare Blu was the perfect home for our families to enjoy while at St. John. We had the opportunity to bring our friends and their kids to St. john for their first visit to the island. Teri & Bernie were tremendously helpful upfront and their advice was extremely helpful and accurate. Their home was laid out perfectly for our two families and kids (6 kids under the age of 10). We had plenty of room to spread out but there is also great outdoor space to hang out together. The outdoor kitchen and pool area is perfect for families to enjoy meals and to just hang out and relax. They truly thought out everything when they designed the layout. We were very pleased with the location as well. It was a short drive to town and to the North Shore beaches. Their property manager was also very accommodating while we were there. We arrived almost 6 hours late due to travel issues and they kindly did a quick store run for us so that we had the essentials for the kids breakfast the following morning. Villa was perfect for our family. The villa was beautiful and fully met and exceeded our expectations. We were traveling with our children and grandchildren and there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy time together and areas to get away and read. Hi Guys I hope you are doing well. We are in St. John this week and drive by Mare Blu everyday as the house we rented is past Mare Blu. We are a group of 17 people. Same group as last year plus one additional family. We are having a great time, but DEFINITELY MISS Mare Blu. The house we rented is called Eco Serendib. Many nice amenities BUT THE Mare Blu EXPERIANCE AND LIVING AREA'S ARE MUCH MUCH BETTER. Just wanted to let you know we are down here and will continue to recommend Mare Blu to anyone who asks.
